Welcome to Ordinary Time…
This is the long 'green season' and it doesn't mean commonplace or average. It comes from "ordinal", which simply means "counted time". Ordinary time occurs at two times in the year: the two or three weeks in February between Epiphany and Lent, and the long period after Pentecost until the Kingdom Season in November. The long period of Ordinary Time is used to focus on God's work in the world and in our lives.
- We will…
- Offer a warm welcome to those who join us to worship God
- Share the good news of the gospel with those around us
- Build up our christian fellowship together
- Seek ways of joyfully serving the community
- Support the work of the church at home and abroad
- Supporting our community…
- We offer space on the website to local businesses we support and who themselves support the church and local community.
