The congregation, including some of the founder members, extend a warm welcome to the church and to any of the services and activities. Please note that during church closure services will be held in Milecastle or Knop Law Primary Schools and St John Vianney Church. See below for details.
All times of worship are open to anyone who wishes to attend.
SERVICES DURING CHURCH CLOSURE: 10.00am Family Eucharist in Milecastle School until end of term.
8:00am - suspended while church is closed
10:00am - Family Eucharist and Junior Church: the family friendly main service. Children can join Junior Church to engage with activities on the theme, returning to the congregation at communion time.
Meet in Milecastle School on Sunday 20th June and following Sundays until the end of term. From 1st August to 5th September in the Turnpike. September 12th onwards in the new Knop Law School.
3:00pm - Holy Communion: on the first Sunday of each month, in the vicarage during church closure.
Enquiries about Baptisms, weddings or other events please contact the church office on Wednesday mornings 10.00-11.30am at The Vicarage, 44 Queensbury Drive, Abbey Farm. Tel: 229 0136
9:45am - Holy Communion: a well-attended morning service with hymns and short address, followed with a social time together and coffee. Meet in St John Vianney Church during church closure.
Daily Prayers
Prayers are said daily in the vicarage and in several homes, usually at 8:45am. Please contact us for details.
The Drop-In will meet on Monday and Friday mornings at 10.30 in the Turnpike pub while the church is closed.
Special services of Commemoration for Healing or Thanksgiving are arranged throughout the year, as well as Christmas, Easter and other seasonal celebrations.
